New Horizon Co-op contacted Praxis in October 2009 to complete a market survey of Co-op members in the Grande Prairie area. A random sample telephone survey asked questions regarding members’ current grocery shopping habits, fuel purchases, and their satisfaction with Co-op and Co-op’s competition.

Praxis analyzed the data and prepared a report, which included comparisons between members in different spending ranges and members that mainly shopped elsewhere. Praxis prepared a PowerPoint presentation of the summary of findings, which was delivered to the Co-op executive. The Co-op management also used the presentation internally.
