The Town of Chetwynd, BC contracted Praxis to advise it on the development and execution of its community-based needs study. Praxis worked with residents of this northeastern BC town throughout the development and completion of this study. The study assessed residents’ needs and perceptions of community services, educational program needs, and attitudes towards development. This project included developing and pre-testing a questionnaire, training the interviewers, identifying sample selection, completing data analysis, and documenting the process and results. Praxis trained local residents to conduct all the interviews.
