Using the Alberta Municipal Affairs IMPACT computer model, Praxis assessed the social, economic and community implications of a rapidly increasing growth rate for the City of Fort Saskatchewan. Following completion of the assessment, Praxis worked with the economic development committee to develop two community surveys. The first survey was a random sample of residents. The second survey targeted commuters living in other communities and commuting to and from work in Fort Saskatchewan.
