This project assessed the effects that a new, open pit mine development and associated processing facilities would have on the Municipality of Crowsnest Pass, in southwestern Alberta. Praxis assessed all labour force requirements, economic impacts, social impacts and community services and infrastructure, based on three alternative growth scenarios. We then drafted recommendations for mitigation.
