Amoco contracted Praxis to conduct an economic impact analysis of its proposed Joffre LAO plant on the region and the province. Due to supply and demand interactions in the area, the elimination of double-counting impacts was an important factor in the analysis. For example, the proposed LAO plant would use ethylene from NOVA\’s portion of production at the proposed EIII plant.  At the same time, LAO\’s would be sold in various markets, one of which would be NOVA\’s proposed polyethylene plant.
