Environment Canada retained the Praxis Canada Team to facilitate the Youth Conference on Sustainable Development. Held in Quebec, Praxis’ strategic partner, Montreal-based Le Groupe DBSF, assumed the lead on this assignment. Praxis Headquarters assembled the Team, which consisted of consultants from across Canada with expertise in facilitation, strategic planning, public education and outreach.

This assignment was part of a larger Environment Canada project for which the Praxis Canada Team qualified for eleven of sixteen Climate Change Secretariat issue tables. These included Credit for Early Action; Enhanced Voluntary Action; Analysis and Modelling; Industry; Transportation; Technology; Buildings; Forestry; International Flexibility Mechanisms; Education and Outreach; and Municipalities.
