Praxis developed and implemented a communications plan for Noranda’s Brench Mine Water Treatment Plant. The plan informed communities in the Okanagan Valley of British Columbia about health and environment issues related to the water discharged from the decommissioned mine site. The communications strategy included an InfoLine, a series of four InfoSheets, an open house and plant tour, and open letters distributed via direct mail and local papers.
