Burns Bog is a massive undeveloped peat bog located in the Fraser River Estuary. The property owners forwarded a proposal to the BC Environmental Assessment Office to develop the site. Praxis assisted the Office in the design and implementation of a public working session as well as a two-day workshop. The purpose of the consultation process was to introduce the ecosystem review process and gather feedback on the review’s terms of reference. The process involved coordination of event logistics; production of display panels; recording and reporting on public comment from the working session; and facilitation of small working groups.
