At the request of the Executive Council Office, Praxis designed and led the process to develop an integrated, government-wide business plan for children in Alberta. This project required the collaboration of the Ministries of Community Development, Health, Education, Justice, Family and Social Services as well as the Children’s Secretariat. Ultimately, the initiative resulted in Cabinet’s adoption of the “Alberta Children’s Initiative: An Agenda for Joint Action,” and the establishment of the new Ministry of Children’s Services.
