In association with Drs. George Kupfer, Ted Van Dyke, and Gerry Archibald, Praxis worked with key stakeholders including ENGOs; industry; local, regional, and provincial governments; and First Nation and Metis organizations.

First, the project Team sought to determine the major public issues facing Shell Canada in the development of their multi-billion dollar oilsands project (120,000 bbls. per day). Second, the Team developed an overall set of recommendations indicating how Shell should proceed with ongoing stakeholder and public consultations during both the regulatory process, construction and operating stages.
