Project Name | Bow Corridor Entry-Level Staff Housing: Staff Accommodation Study |
---|---|
Client | Employment and Immigration Canada |
Project Type | Research Studies |
Timeframe | 1994 to 1996 |
Employment and Immigration Canada contracted Praxis to complete a review of staff accommodation in the Bow Corridor. This region extends from Kananaskis Country to Lake Louise, including the towns of Canmore and Banff. The final product was a reference guide for prospective employees regarding the availability, quality, quantity, and type of staff housing in the region.
This guide assisted prospective employees in making informed employment decisions and helped businesses to understand better what makes for “good” staff accommodation. Given demand, the guidebook went to a second printing, was produced in English and French, and updated in 1996.
