The Town of Banff retained Praxis, ProjectWorks, R. Conrad and Associates, and Guyn Cooper Research Associates to complete a strategic plan for the Community Services Department. As part of the plan, Praxis conducted a ”recreation facilities feasibility study” as well as a ”trails and open space assessment”. In addition, Praxis undertook a review of the recreation and social services needs in Banff. The findings of the studies formed the basis of recommendations regarding departmental organization and future program delivery.
