As a member of the consultation team, Praxis assisted with designing a new model to fund and deliver rehabilitation services in the Edmonton Metropolitan area. The Team also developed a proposal for the newly established Capital Health Authority. Fifty-two private clinics operating in the area joined to form a new corporate body, which were responsible for the funding, administration, and delivery of all rehabilitation services in the region.

Also, the Team submitted a single proposal to the Regional Health Authority, responsible for the overall process. A five-volume report was compiled and submitted in less than three weeks. The report contained a profile of service capacity, revised delivery and coordinating mechanisms, new fee schedules and funding strategy, corporate and administrative structures, and a research program to support more effective and efficient delivery strategies.
