In association with Ms. Susan Abs, Eclipse Environmental Consulting, Praxis gave a presentation on the role of the Canadian Environmental Assessment Agency in conducting public reviews of projects. Praxis also participated in a panel discussion on approaches to public involvement in environmental assessment. Participants represented Jordanian government agencies, universities and non-government-organizations. The primary objective of the session was to learn from the Canadian experience as Jordanian officials and experts moved toward establishing an EIA process, and in developing and delivering environmental management courses throughout Jordan.
