Provincial government employers and employees were facing various challenges due to the way in which legislation defined trades. To explore these challenges, Alberta Apprenticeship contracted Praxis to facilitate informal meetings with senior government representatives as well as employers and employees to identify the issues surrounding the existing definitions and to identify possible legislative solutions.
