Nanaimo Regional District retained Richard Roberts to plan and facilitate a two-day workshop with senior management and staff to provide an overview of public involvement for the regional government. Following this, an overall framework for public involvement was developed to guide its activities. Once representatives agreed upon this framework, the District developed a strategy for implementing its Growth Management Strategy.
